Sad News.   One of our loyal supporters, David Keir Wright passed away on Friday 28th August at 7.15 a.m. In Copenhagen.

David left Dundee High School in 1961 having won the Junior, Intermediate and Senior Championship in athletics.   Through his years in Senior School he also excelled at Rugby, captaining the 1st XV in his final year.   He played for the Club in the 60’s and was in the successful 7’s side that won the Midlands Sevens Cup in 1963/64 season.

He qualified in Physical Education and Drama at Loughborough College where he played in a college side that had famous Welsh players Gerald Davis and John Taylor.

Having qualified, he went to Copenhagen to teach where he played rugby with the Copenhagen Exiles.
