As of Tuesday 28 th. July I am delighted to announce that training has restarted at the club. This is due in no small part to the efforts of Neil Dymock our Covid Officer and Rugby Convenor. In conjunction with Director of Rugby Colin Sangster and Head Coach Alan Brown, Neil has put in place a training regime which players can opt into via an app which then allows full track and trace of all participants. This resumption of our playing life now allows us to focus on the club’s needs going forward.
As you all know from my previous information/update to members this is an exciting and challenging time to be involved with the club. Your Committee with our partners at Morgan are working to achieve our goal of having a club capable of representing our City in the highest echelons of Scottish Rugby. We can only achieve this with your help.
Covid 19 has forced us into extra financial outlay in order to make our club and surroundings as safe as we can in compliance with Government and SRU guidelines. This coupled with the monthly running costs of the club means that we need you to take up your membership as soon as possible. Obviously in these troubled times out ability to generate income is severely restricted with no lunch club or social events possible. Those of you who are able to donate a little extra would be helping the club enormously in these difficult times.
Equally we are always looking for volunteer help and expertise.
I would encourage you to contact Bill Campbell our Business Development Manager if you feel you can offer some help in that area and to contact myself to volunteer your time in service to the club.
On that note can I encourage you to contact me with any suggestions you have to help us in our aim to become the pre- eminent club in Scotland. Similarly if you have any complaints please feel free to email or phone me to discuss them.
We share the same club ambitions and aim — to be the best we can be — together as one.
