Well another busy week in the build up to another fabulous TFI Friday™. Last weeks wine was guessed correctly by a lady who wants anonymity so I cant upload a picture of Lynda McKay.
We respect your request. The wine for this weeks guess the wine competition© will be supplied by a Property Magnet from B/Ferry. You will be drawn to it! Oh another homophone! See what I did there? Brilliant. FREE nibbles will feature prominently so if you have a contribution please do not resist your urge. Bar will open at/by or near 5.32pm.
Rugby. Narrow loss at Jed last week earned a bonus point. Jed 24-20 Dundee. Titans game was called off v Hawick.
This week we host Musselburgh RFC both teams in action at Mayfield and both games have a 3pm KO. All the best lads! The famous Caley Reds are back in action on Tue the 7th Nov v The South in a replay of the game last year at Jed. It’s a 7.30 ko and a pre game carvery is available which includes the entry cost of £10. Priced at only £20 with all proceeds going to the Doddie Weir Trust. If interested please email me, email@example.com Famous TV and radio personality John Beattie is the speaker.
After the game on Sat there is the annual Halloween nonsense so if you want to join in you will need to wear something ridiculous and be frightening. If you fancy attending get in touch with Herr RoJo
This Week in History 1881 just a few months before the rugby club was formed Pablo Picasso was born. He would later go on to enjoy quite a bit of Rugby Union and eventually extended an invite to Dundee Demons @ the Benidorm 7’s. A decision he would later regret.
Jesus Christ Superstar was also released this week in 1970 and is loosely based on our saint like saviour Alan Brown. Luv a bit of history and if you know it can make our hearts go oh oh oh etc…..
We hope you have a great rugby weekend.
